Ghosts!!

There are many different superstitions about ghosts. In the English Renaissance period they beleived that you should say “God Bless You” after you sneeze because a ghost could enter your mouth or nose during the sneeze.  Also they thought that a eclipse was an omen of evil along with a shoe on the table was considered bad luck.  Some superstitions nowdays are that evil spirts will not harm you if you stand in a circle.  Also another superstition is that a black cat that runs in front of you will bring you bad luck. My family doesn’t really have any superstitions or sayings about ghosts.  A place that is supposed to be haunted today is Carver Mill Bridge at Scarecorn Creek but it really isn’t.  I live about 5 minutes from the bridge and I have never seen anything there.  People are so facinated with ghosts I think is because they like the rush of being scared.

Assignment #2-Heros

In this video Shrek would be the main hero. He rescued Princess Fiona from the tower and battled the dragon while rescuing her. Shrek also rescued Fiona from having to marry the evil Prince Charming. The charactertistics of a hero that appear in Shrek are that heros rescue and help people in need. The ancient character Beowulf would be considered a hero because he helped the people in the village from Grendel and Grendels mother. Beowulf also killed the dragon and most fictional characters battle dragons in their story.

Learning to use this thing!!

I feel like this is going to be complicated but it is also going to be fun. I have never used a blog before so this is my first time using anything like this. I predict that this is going to be interesting and fun for everyone to use. I look forward to using this after I figure out how to use this. I look forward to it because this is going to be something that is fun to do!!
